Was wondering what you thought Kaz.

I have read all the books and have not thought any of the movies came close to how good the books were,

Although this movies gets it very very close to the book and I rated it well.
Had everything a bit of laughter/love/fighting evil
Was well put together I thought

I read a review in the SMH this morning that gave it 4 stars and gave the movie very favourable comments calling it probably the best of the series and "not just a good Harry Potter movie but a good movie in itself"

Have not read any of the books, but have seen all the movies to date I think. Have not been very impressed with any of them.

I read a lot, but they really haven't interested me. Now after seeing the movies, I wouldn't bother reading them. Nothing worse than reading something you already know the ending to.

Although I have read book 5/6 and 7 more than once and still enjoyed it

I liked the movie alot. I just have to try not to compare it to the book, because it's a movie there's just so much of the detail that gets missed out, but it was still a good movie. I'm glad they've split the last book into two movies, because it means that more of the story can be included.

I love seeing Ron and Hermione growing up in the movies! They're both hilarious.

i havent seen the movie yet, but have read the books, and i feel a bit dissapointed and annoyed they changed the story a bit.

Really LOVED the movie - lot more 'mushy' stuff than previous; and as BJ said, quite humerous at times.
Having read all the books it makes you view the end of this movie a little differently than those who have not.

I'm going to re-read this book again to fill in the many details that had to be pushed aside for the movie(or we would have been sitting there for 5 hours)

One of my favourite HP movies
My favourite character is, and always has been, Hermione. Just don't get her taste in men

I thought there were funny bits but on the whole the story in this book was a bit of a filler.

However, Mr Legs, not being a fan of reading, has now bought all of these for the kids at various points over the last few years so phooey to mum and any foundations she might be trying to build...

Bit of a harry fan, however I have not read half blood prince.. just got back from seeing the movie and I can tell you now that I did not see that coming! Thought it was a great watch.. the harry potter crew starting to go through puberty.. raging hormones.. Ron getting lucky kinda makes my stomach curdle though
