Lifts are all on wind hold. I spoke with someone with some clout and he gave the impression that Thursday I wont be riding the lift back down.

I can't believe i had to leave Thredbo yesterday morning!!!
Mind you, being there during the first good snowfall of the weekend was awesome, made even better by two young dudes running around friday flat in only boardies

Buller has updated their website with 40cm's so far and only 20 minutes ago here in Melbourne the sky's started hemmoraging with hail so give it an hour or 2 and Buller will get more white gold. Keep in mind, whatever Buller gets, Hotham and Falls gets more.

I've already decided to head to Falls this weekend. Traditionally they have the most snow anytime of the year. Even though no announcements have been made about lifts being opened but you can be pretty confident quite a few lifts will open this weekend across all Vic resorts at least.
