An email from the Ratepayers Association says

- the season opens noon Frifday 5th June;
- shuttles are expected to be operational (for intra village transport rather than people carting gear from carparks to lodges);
- taxis should be operational that day (well I darn well hope so);
- vehicles already in the resort village will needed parking passes after noon that day;
- chains should be carried. (I hope we need to dig our cars out!)

The Museum is seeking financial support from clubs and families. Contact museum@mtbuller.com.au for forms. Briefly a year membership is a tax deductible $35 for individuals, $60 for a family, and $200 for a club. What's in it for you? Well I dunno but they are dvd'ing old film from Falls atm, and have dvd'd footage from Buller's olden days.

Let the countdown to 5th June begin.

You'd think they'd plan lots of snowless activities.

A beer company is dropping into chat - no one thought to ask them to bring kegs on opening w/end. hello. Do they think we'll be skiing?

For my pagan snow dance, the Police Band won't play my 'stripper music' in the Chapel!

Fingers are crossed for a Mountain Dew Railfest. Maybe a dry slope for kids to try parks.

Bear, you up for a champineship wrestle match with Barry the Possum?

I don't fight wildlife. ;) I have packed a scrum with Prime Possum though.
